    Rada Thomas, BSc., BSc.P.T., D.O.M.P, D.Sc.O.

    Rada Thomas is a Registered Physiotherapist and Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Rada earned a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Psychology at McMaster University. While at McMaster, Rada was a member and co-captain of the Women’s Varsity Tennis Team. Rada has earned a bachelor of science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Rada has earned a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice (D.O.M.P), and a Diploma in the Science of Osteopathy (D.Sc.O.) from the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Rada is a developing qualitative researcher in the field of narrative inquiry, and has studied at the University of Alberta under Dr. Jean Clandinin, founder of narrative inquiry. Rada has completed the Stott Pilates mat and reformer instructors training and has taught both private and group classes. Rada has extensive experience working as a physiotherapist in both the public and private sectors. In the public sector Rada has worked in the hospital in the intensive care, surgical units, and outpatient orthopaedics. In the private sector Rada has worked in OHIP and private multi-disciplinary clinics. Some of Rada’s awards include the McMaster Marauder Scholar award, University of Toronto’s Physical Therapy Qualitative Research Award (Final Year Project), Canadian College of Osteopathy’s Sarah Forsythe’s Valedictorian Award, the Melanie Berger Research Scholarship Award, and the Andrew Taylor Still Award (Excellence in Philosophical Research) for her osteopathic narrative inquiry thesis. Rada was invited to present her narrative inquiry research at the 2019 Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques Symposium in Montreal. Rada currently has physiotherapy/osteopathy practices in Burlington and Hamilton Ontario, where she provides personalized, whole person, one to one care.
